AD Artistry Started Many Years Ago As A Dream, And Is Now Reality!

Founder and CEO Allison Fink started as a Makeup Artist at the young age of 18 for Estee Lauder. Known throughout the industry for their rigorous training program, Estee Lauder was an amazing way to break into the makeup world and learn the craft – the right way! Two years later, Allison attended Temple University to attain her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. After graduation, she worked as a Marketing Assistant for an Industrial Contractor in Philadelphia, PA. It didn’t take long for her to realize that her creative juices were being stifled and she dearly missed being an artist.

In 2012, Allison started working at one of the world’s top luxury retailers, Neiman Marcus. During her 8 year career at Neiman’s, she had the honor of working for several leading brands including Marc Jacobs Beauty, Trish McEvoy, Kiehl’s, and Fresh. Allison was one of the few chosen Makeup Artists for the Beauty Team that worked for the store’s designer runway shows held each season, working directly under designers and fashion buyers such as Badgley Mischka, Brunello Cucinelli, Naeem Kahn, Ken Downing and Lori Caplin.

Through all these amazing and immeasurable experiences, Allison was able to grow exponentially, developing modern techniques and styles. Starting in her early years at Neiman Marcus, she used her free time to grow her freelance business as a Bridal Makeup Artist. Ultimately, she realized her love for bridal artisty was far surpassing all other endeavors – and so, AD Artistry was born!
